John Tsiavis is a versatile artist whose talents extend across directing brand films, documentaries, and TV commercials, as well as portraiture, entertainment, and fashion photography.

Splitting his time between Melbourne, Los Angeles, and Mexico, Tsiavis was shortlisted as an Emerging Director at the AWARD Awards and secured wins for Best Short Director and Best Australian Documentary at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival in 2022. Additionally, his work has been acclaimed at festivals such as the Toronto Short Film Festival, New York Indie Shorts Awards, and St Kilda Film Festival.

Tsiavis has also received multiple finalist awards in the prestigious National Photographic Portrait Prize and Head On Portrait Awards. He has collaborated with major brands like DISNEY, HBO, NINTENDO, and CROWN HOTELS, and his photographs have graced the covers and pages of renowned publications including Esquire, Rolling Stone, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, and Flaunt magazine.
