Gregor Jordan

BIOGRAPHY

Gregor Jordan is a multi-award winning writer/director with extensive credits in feature films, TV drama series, documentaries and commercials.

His first short film SWINGER won the Jury Prize at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival. His debut feature TWO HANDS starring Heath Ledger, Bryan Brown and Rose Byrne won Australian Film Institute awards for Best Screenplay, Best Director and Best Film. His second film BUFFALO SOLDIERS, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Anna Paquin and Ed Harris won a British Independent Film award for best screenplay. His other feature films NED KELLY, THE INFORMERS, UNTHINKABLE and DIRT MUSIC saw him working with stars Billy Bob Thornton, Winona Ryder, Mickey Rourke, Naomi Watts and Samuel L Jackson.

Gregor’s TV work includes the Channel 7/ Roadshow Rough Diamond series AUSTRALIAN GANGSTER, the ABCTV Australia documentary IAN THORPE – THE SWIMMER and the ABCTV Australia series OLD SCHOOL starring Bryan Brown and Sam Neill.

Gregor has worked on many TVC’s and brand programs including ‘The Great Crusade’ for Qantas that was nominated for an Emmy Award and won a Gold Lion at Cannes for best branded entertainment.
