Scott wrote and directed his first short film at the age of 14; which is not that uncommon now, but back then it was not an easy thing to achieve. After recognition for this film achievement came from Sydney Film Festival, Scott was given the opportunity to work in the Art Department at ABC Television, before going on to achieve college degrees in screenwriting, film production, and film editing.
After working as an Advertising Creative, Scott began directing commercials and has since done so across numerous markets, including Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe, and the USA, for brands such as Bacardi, Bonds, Sony, Carlton United Breweries, Mitsubishi and more.
He’s worked in TV Broadcast as an Executive Creative Director across various channels and shows ranging from live music to lifestyle, and kids programming to adult drama.
Scott’s entrepreneurial spirit also drove him to set up a development company that writes and develops series (of all lengths) and features for production companies, studios and networks in both the UK and Hollywood.
He’s also represented out of LA by one of Hollywood’s biggest agents for his talent as a Screenwriter. He’s now written and directed numerous short films and TV Shows, and also written dozens of features; picking up a finalists at Slamdance screenplay competition, LAFF and many other global festivals, as well as having options with Studios in the UK and US.
Because of all this, he has an incomparable knowledge and sensibility of how to shape brand filmic stories across a multitude of channels in order to truly connect and intrigue audiences.
In particular, Scott is passionate about working with unique and diverse talent to achieve performances that make people smile, and hopefully, even for a moment, laugh a little.
